Elder Research Inc., a ManTech Company, (ERI) is a consulting firm specialized in providing analytic solutions to clients in Commercial and Government industries. We work in a fast-paced environment, solving new and challenging problems on a daily basis. We are trusted advisors to our clients, building lasting relationships and partnering as preferred analytics providers. We use a variety of programming languages and tools to create analytic solutions, often fitting within our clients’ environment and needs.
ERI is currently seeking a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to serve our Commercial clients. A CEM will have the opportunity to develop and utilize leadership skills, build strong relationships internally and externally, intersect their passion for advanced analytics to both project delivery and business strategy, and oversee the health and growth of their clients. Candidates in, or willing to relocate to, Raleigh, NC, Charlottesville, VA or Atlanta, GA will be considered.
Project Delivery
A CEM will drive technology and analytics delivery by managing client relationships, consulting projects, and technology teams. Internally, they regularly interface with executive leaders and service lines of Engineers, Data Scientists, Technical Business Analysts, and other experts to aid in business analysis, technology design and delivery, quality assurance, and project reporting. Externally, they regularly interface with clients at numerous levels of an organization—project managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT groups, management, and executives—to drive the tactical delivery of analytics projects.
Engagement Strategy
As they grow in experience and responsibility, a CEM will assume a larger role in partnering with Portfolio Directors to define and drive an analytics strategy and roadmap. They will develop long range engagement plans that outline strategy growth initiatives for their portfolio of clients. They will interface with technical service line leaders to outline service offerings and with Portfolio Directors to develop roadmaps for on-contract growth.

- Energetic and Creative. Life-long learners. Eager to grow and stay on top of a rapidly evolving analytics and data science industry.
- Effective Listeners, Communicators, and Presenters. You know what to say, you know who you’re talking to, and you work hard to say it the right way. Ability to articulate the value of data science, statistics, and machine learning to clients and their business.
