Description & Requirements
Elder Research Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MANTECH international Corporation seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Forensic Accountant to join our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience supporting complex financial analysis relating to tracing the proceeds of fraud.
- Five (5) years of experience specializing in financial investigations with an emphasis on money laundering and asset forfeiture.
- Five (5) years of experience in forensic accounting and the tracing and analysis of funds, including bank records.
- Investigative Techniques: Working knowledge of current financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases and specialized information sources.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience on a large-scale forensic accounting assignment involving federal benefit programs that features tracing funds for large criminal or civil litigation matters.
- Required Certifications (At least one):
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE / ACFE)
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS / ACAMS)
Preferred Requirements:
- Working with federal benefit programs and federal law enforcement.
- Pluses: Specialized training in the subject of money laundering and fraud in federal benefit programs.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
