Summary of Position:

Elder Research is hiring a Project Manager to lead an exciting project for a government customer. This role offers the opportunity to manage a talented team of Data Scientists and play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions that make a critical impact on the mission. Essential Functions:

We are seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience managing large, complex support services projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead multiple projects and senior staff, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. This role requires expertise in full lifecycle project management, including planning, risk management, and cost monitoring. Familiarity with federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration is essential to effectively manage projects in this space.


Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in managing large, complex support services projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects and senior staff.
  • Experience in full lifecycle project management, including planning, risk management, and cost monitoring.
  • Must have familiarity with federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration
  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Project Management, Program Management, or a related discipline.
  • Must be eligible for Secret clearance, US Citizenship Required for Clearance Eligibility

Desired Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (highly desired)

Substitution Criteria for Master's Degree

  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Project or Program Management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification required.
